“Getting the PMP® is not the final destination, the new knowledge gained will be applied in my daily work to perfect my project management skills and deliver more success.” |
Edward Chung passed the PMP® Certification in first attempt. Below is his lessons learned:
- PMBOK® Guide Guide Version 5 can be downloaded free from the PMI® website once you are a member. Read it fast the first time, read it in more details the second time while jotting down notes.
- The Project Management PrepCast by Cornelius Fichtner allows you to fulfill the PMI®’s requirement of 35 contact hours for project management education.
- The PMP® Exam – How to Pass On Your First Try (5th Edition) by Andy Crowe is a great book to help you understand the PMBOK® Guide Guide
- Free online PMP® Exam Sample Questions/Test Bank: I tried to search through lessons learned from other PMP®s to look at their results on the same sets of questions and their proficiency level in the real PMP® exam. This gives me the confidence on the real PMP® exam.
